Elementary School
Grades 1-4
In grades one through four, children are fully immersed in a comprehensive academic program complemented by formal religious education. As part of this curriculum, second-grade students undergo Sacramental preparation, preparing them to receive First Reconciliation and First Communion.
In the lower grades, students establish a strong foundation in mathematics that prioritizes the development of academic language and fundamental skills.
Promoting a love for reading is a central objective across all grade levels. Our curriculum includes grade-level reading initiatives alongside personalized, leveled reading activities. Utilizing the Renaissance Learning Accelerated Reader program, students enhance their comprehension skills and monitor their progress in reading.
Our dynamic science and social studies curricula offer hands-on learning experiences that deepen students' understanding of their community and the world around them. The elementary years also introduce students to our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) focus, fostering problem-solving skills through engaging, experiential activities.
Additionally, students benefit from a well-rounded academic experience with Spanish, music, art, physical education, and library classes. Technology integration further enriches their learning journey, preparing them for success in a rapidly evolving digital world.
